Shop like a guy

Some women look at shopping like an adventure. It's a chance to possibly find a beautiful dress or a perfect gift to have on hand just in case. Looking is at least as important as what is purchased. This, however can lead to unexpected purchases.

Many guys, on the other hand, look at shopping like a military mission. Get in, accomplish the goal, and get out. This mindset minimizes expenses and time. You'll be surprised at the difference an alternate point of view can make.

Glycemic Response

Fats do not raise glucose levels so just make sure they are healthy fats like vigin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, all sorts of nuts, seeds like pumpkin, flax, and fish like sardines & salmon, tuna. A glycemic response to a food depends on the other foods eaten along with it.

Putting the fork down

Putting the fork down a few times during the meals helps to register the amount I am eating. At the start of the meal, I am eager to get back to the meal when I put the fork down but later in the meal, I usually see that I don't have the same urge to eat the rest. Helps with Portion control, give the brain a chance to register that I am eating and not just devour the food. Slowing down while eating helps to enjoy the food without overeating emoticon

RE: Shop for a size down!

Don't go crazy and get something that's 10 sizes too small. Start with the next size down. Buy off the clearance rack too. Right now all the stores are selling their winter stuff cheap so pick something the next size down then when you reach that goal do it again. And make sure you get rid of the old sizes since you'll NEVER be back there again :-)

Cinese Food Eat in or Take Out For a Quick Meal After A Long Day

Most Chinese food is laden with lots of sodium. Stay on course and order Moo Goo Gai Pan which is a chicken dish made with lots of non~starchy veggies. Order brown rice most restaurants have it now. Maybe a side of Garlic String Bean which is delicious. Have the WONTON OR Egg Drop- Soup before the meal. They are broth based and can help you eat less. Have the Fortune Cookie too, it's about 30 calories.
